It is with the acceptance of God’s will that the Ocharo family announces the death of Henry Okemwa Ocharo, formerly of Kenya Revenue Authority which occurred on the 21st of August 2025.
He was the son of the late Evans Ocharo Guto, the late Priscilla Moraa Ocharo and Dinah Nyaboke Ocharo.
Loving husband of Hon. Jane Ocharo (Judiciary) father of Alice & Céline Ocharo, and most amazing grandfather of Nylah Moraa, Xahria Kerubo and Axl Monte of Simba Villas Embakasi.
Brother of the late Alice Masese, the late Thomas Michira Ocharo, Teresa Manyura, the late Peter Kimaiga Ocharo, Mwalimu James Ong’era Ocharo, the late William Mabwoga Ocharo, Bernard Mogambi Ocharo, Kwamboka, Shem, Maburi, Masira, Alice and Maggie Ocharo.
Nephew of the late Bosibori Ombuya, Nyatebo Ogeto, Watson Mogere, David Masira, Ondieki Oroo, Nyareso Ndubi, Charles Momanyi, Martin Ongwae, Nyabeta Sese, Nyagwachi Nyangwara and families.
Son-in-law of the late Anna and Geteri Kimanga.
Brother-in-law of George Masese, Andrew Oseko, Isaac Tarus, the late Annah Michira, the late Christine Jeptoo Ong’era, Roseline Ong’era, the late Jane Kwamboka Mabwoga, Paustine Mabwoga Ocharo, and Alice Nyanchoka Ocharo among others.

Friends and family are meeting at his home daily in Simba Villas Embakasi.
The main fundraising meeting and celebration of life will be on 2/09/2025 at All Saints Cathedral Hall Nairobi at 17.00hrs.
The cortège will leave Chiromo Mortuary on 4/09/2025 for burial in Masosa Village, Nyamira County on 5/09/2025.
