It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. George Oduor Makokha, who, until his demise was an employee of New KCC Ltd – Dandora Sales Depot.
He was the beloved son of Mr. Luka Makokha Rapong’o and the late Mrs. Arinota Nasike Makokha of Matungu Sub-County, Mirere Sub-Location, Kakamega County.
He was a husband of Beatrice Odour Awino and Jackline Achando Machoki. A loving father of Luka Kong’ani Oduori, Lydia Auma Oduory, Protus Makokha Odoury, Janetrix Achieng Oduory, Evans Rapong’o Odoury, Vitalis Okumu Oduory, Delvis Oduory and Shantel Arinota Oduory.
He was a brother of the late Pascal Rapong’o, Benedict Omanyo, Peter Kusinyo, the late Victorina Makhandia, Jenitta Mutindi and Rosemary Musala and Uncle of John, Samuel, Tobias, Jonai, Abel, Mercy, Viona, Purity and Gideon. Cousin of Humphreys Musikoyo Oduori.
He was a proud grandfather of Wigan, Cleophas, Ruth, Neljoy, Victorina, Thalia, Stacy, Darren, Valentine, Brighton, George, Ivan and Darren.
The funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday,14th February 2026 in Kakamega County.
