It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of George Muriithi Ndebu Gachanja of Mombasa.
Son of the late Ndebu Gachanja and the late Eunice Ndebu of Gachika – Kiganjo – Nyeri County.
George was brother of the late Lucy and John Mwendwa, William and Jane Wachira, Alice Ndebu, Peter and Flora Ndiritu, Joel and Ann Kariuki, Alice and Jomo and Susan Ndebu.
He was husband of Zelipha Muriithi, father of Miriam Wanjiru (USA) and Edwin Muriithi.
Grandfather of Joshua Githinji and uncle of many.
Son-in-law of the late Simon Kirettai and the late Winfred Kirettai.
Brother-in-law of Franklin Gitonga, Harun Ndiritu, Rebecca Nyokabi and Eunice Nyawira.
A memorial service shall be held at Milele PCEA Church Mombasa on 10th March 2026 from 4:00pm. Burial shall take place on Friday 13th March 2026 at their home Gachika – Kiganjo, Nyeri county .
The family, friends and church fraternity are meeting daily at Vescon1 House No.112 and at Gachika Home in Nyeri County, upto Thursday 12th March 2026.
