It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of George Henry Onyango Siddondo – CEO, Homes & Abroad.
George was a loving and devoted husband of Edith Awando-Siddondo of Profit Acumen, and a caring father of Naya (Kianda School), Riki, Owen, and Gian (Strathmore School).
He was the beloved son of the late Brig. (Rtd) Frederick Adams Siddondo and Irene Siddondo of Umala Village, Sidindi, Ugunja, Siaya County.
Son-in-law of the late Fredrick Opar Awando and Ruth Amolo Awando of Nyakach K’Oguta.
Cherished brother of Sheila, Camilla, Ronald, Harold, Sharon, Beth, Evelyn, Anne, Lillian, Maxwell, Barbara, and Wat.
Brother-in-law of Philip, Elzeba Ochieng, the late Martha, Jerry, Janet, Robert Mwangi, Julliet Opondo, and Nick Oduol.
He was a loving uncle of Zawadia, Crystal, Angel, Zuri, Aidan, Amor, Kerr, Akwe, Mboss, Hera (late), Rakinda, Siddondo Oduol, among others.
A dear nephew of Esther, the late Nyibule, Betty, Claris, Merab, Owino Tunya, Josephine, the late Juliana, Elizabeth, the late Patricia, the late Joseph, the late Peter, Paul, and Ghemmi, among others.
Cousin of the Wasongas, Ondieks, Owinos, Tunyas, Odundos, Olayos, Odimwahs, and Osogos, among many others.
A Fundraiser in support of the family is scheduled for Wednesday, 29th October 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
Allamano Centre Auditorium, Consolata Shrine.
A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, 30th October 2025 at 12 noon St.Austin’s Catholic Church Lavington.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, 7th November 2025 for Sidindi, where George will be laid to rest on Saturday, 8th November 2025 at the Siddondo home, Umala Village, Sidindi Ward, Ugunja, Siaya County.
