It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Franco Alex Leseketeti (formerly of NDMA) which occurred on Monday 26th January, 2026 following a short illness.
Son of Miriam and the late Boniface Leseketeti. A loving husband of Peris Nasieku Lalaikipiani.
Cherished father of Brian Saruni (Samburu County Government), Debra Naanyu (University of Karabuk-Turkey), Anjela Naisiae (Alliance Girls), Ian Saitabao (Catholic University of Eastern Africa) and Maggie Nashami (Limuru Girls’).
Son-in-law of Edward and Janet Lalaikipiani. Brother of the late Richard Leseketeti, Rebecca Leseketeti (KNEC), Susan Lolosoli (Archer’s Post), Regina Sirma (Ministry of Medical Services), the late Patrick Leseketeti and Saitoti Leseketeti (KCB).
Brother- in-law of Amina Lekalaile, Tom Lesarge, James Lolosoli, Mike Sirma, the late Susan Kananu, Nasieku Lekarsia, Gladys Lenyarua, Sarah, Mike, Nancy and Erick Lalaipiani.
Uncle of Saidimu, Naserian, Gumato, Sakina, Shaban, Naitore, Lemayian, Meing’ati, Nela, Jeremy, Chemutai, Korir, Naeku, Cherop, Kuntai, Namunyak and Leshan.
Daily prayers and funeral arrangement meetings are taking place at SMHC Don Bosco Church Upperhill Nairobi, Maralal and Kirimon in Samburu County.
The cortège leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Monday 2nd February, 2026 for a church service and burial at his Kirimon farm in Samburu County.
