It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we annouce the sudden passing on of Evanson Muriithi Mukira on 31st July, 2025 in California U.S.A.
Muriithi was the son of the late Ex-Senior Chief Moses Mukira Gachugi, Keziah Njeri Mukira and late Florence Mugure Mukira of Kagongo Village, Chinga Ward, Othaya, Nyeri County
He was husband of Joyce Muriithi.
He was devoted father of Zion Mukira, Chase Muriithi and Zivah Njeri.
He was son-in-law of late Muriithi Gichora and Nazalin Muriithi.
Evanson was brother of the late Gladys Ngunjiri and Nelson Ngunjiri, Arthur and Gladys Gachugi (U.S.A), Timothy and Mercy Muito, Duncan Kingori Snr, Arthur G. Mukira (Formerly Of Crown Paints) and Rachael Gachugi, Beatrice W. Mukira, Loise H. Mukira (Formerly Of U.S.A.I.D), the late David Thiomi and Jane Thiomi, Canon Joyce Kariuki of ACK St Francis Karen and George Kariuki, Duncan & Jane Kingori Jnr of U.S.A, Richard and Muthoni Waithaka, Edwin Mukira (Crystal Valuers Ltd) and Mary Njoki, Charles and Hellen Gitahi, Margaret & Justin Njeru, Samuel & Gladys Gathanga, John Mwangi, George and Rose Keru.
He was uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Prayers and funeral planning meeting will take place on Monday, 18th August, 2025 at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 5.30pm.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi on Wednesday, 20th August, 2025 at 7.00am for a funeral service Starting from 10.00a.m. at ACK St. Paul’s Church, Kariki in Chinga, Othaya, followed by interment at his family home.
