It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing into glory of Esther Waithera Kimemia. Wife of the late Elijah Kimemia Wanguku.
She has left behind her children Mary Wangui Kimemia Waweru and the late Joseph Waweru Ng’ang’a, Robert Maina Kimemia and Alice Kanyua Maina, Simon Njoroge Kimemia and Mary Wangechi, the late Joseph Kagozi Kimemia and the late Susan Wanja, Ann Nyokabi Kimemia Gachara and the late David Ng’ang’a Gachara, John Mwaura Kimemia and Mary Muthoni, Dr. Peter Matu Kimemia, Monica Wambui Kimemia Mwangi and Alex Mwangi Chege (both in the USA), Samuel Gitau Kimemia, Susan Wairimu Kimemia Githinji, Jeremiah Wandu Kimemia and Mary Njeri and Hon. Beatrice Muthoni Kimemia.
She was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
The burial will take place on Thursday, the 12th of February 2026 at her home in Salama Ward, Nyahururu, Laikipia County.
The cortege will leave St Benedict Funeral Home at 9 a.m.
Meetings and prayers are being held daily at her Salama home and also at Laikipia Comfort Hotel on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th (4-7pm).
