It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. Pamela Nereah Kola on 24th November 2025, after a period of illness.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Manasseh and Mariam Ogot; devoted wife of Sylvano Kola; and cherished mother of Nina, Bobby, and Mariamme.
She was mother-in-law of Derek and the late Shawn, and a loving grandmother of Aidyn.
She was sister of the late Zadok Otieno, the late Jerry Owour, the late Raphael Ouma, the late Rhoda Anyango Roy, the late Patrick Ogot, Christine Apondo, the late Jack Ogot, Alice Ouma, Fred Ogot, the late Martin Ogot, and the late Perez Wesonga.
She was sister-in-law of the late Walter Ogalo, Esther Ogalo, the late Henry and Florence Aduda, the late Dr. Abisai Kola and Catherine Kola, Mary Kola, the late Pheobe Afwata, the late Christine Otieno, Roseline Otieno, Mary Owuor, the late Roy Anyango, Alice Ogot, the late Dr. George Apondo, the late Ouma Mbaja, Ann Ogot, and Orpah Ogot.
Dr. Kola was a treasured aunt, godmother, mentor, counsellor, teacher, and loyal friend whose impact was felt by many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at the home of Sylvano Kola.
Meeting will be held at All Saints’ Cathedral, Meeting Room, on Tuesday, 2nd December from 5:30 PM.
