It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr.Charles Mogote Nyamwaya, Lecturer at Mount Kenya University (Nakuru & Thika Campuses), on 25th August 2025 at 10:30 p.m., after a long illness.
Dr. Charles was the beloved son of the late Mwalimu Philip Nyamwaya Makere and Mama Milkah Nyaboke.
He was a devoted husband of Rose and a loving father of Davies Mogote.
He was a cherished brother of Margaret, the late Mellen, the late Douglas, Rose, Eric, Jackline, Linet,
Okari, Gisege, Nyatuka, and Asiago.
Son-in-law of the late Kiyondi and the late Bisieri.
Nephew of the Makeres, Matunduras, and Araka’s, the late Nyachoti, Oanda, the late Momanyi,
Nyagitari, Makori, Nyandoche, Asande, Rael, Alice, Miriam, Beatrice, Pauline, Ondieki, Nyandara,
Bonareri, Joyce, Esther, the late among others.
Brother-in-law of the late Achuti, the late Kengere, the late Hellen, the late Mariah, Dorcas, and Fred.
Cousin of Moranga, Ronald, Richard, Wilder, Robert,Vincent, Benard, Lornah, Alex, among others.
Grandson of the late Makere, the late Kerubo, the late Araka, and the late Subano.
The body is lying at P.N.N Funeral Home, Nakuru, awaiting burial at his home in Sobea, Rongai, Nakuru County, on Friday, 12th September 2025.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their homes in Ibacho Jogoo, Nyaribari Masaba, and at their house in Nakuru, Arap Chumo Estate.
