With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Daniel Walter Obiero of Mulaha Siaya County, who died on 24th March 2026 at the age of 73 years after a long battle with illness.
He was the son of the late Joshua Omollo and the late Rosa Nyalum. He was a devoted husband of Caroline Meresa Adhiambo.
Son- in-law of the late Aristariko Nyawanda and Jenipher Nyawanda of Asembo Kanyikela Ndhiwa.
Father of the late George Omollo, Jacklyne Awuor, Jenipher Achieng’, Patrick Ochieng, Brenda Akoth, Derrick Otieno and Beryl Akinyi.
He was brother of the late John, the late Sophia, the late Anne, the late Edwina and Mary.
He was father-in-law of Eng. Willis Kagolla, Elizabeth Bwire and Mark Muma.
Grandfather of Vincent, Wayne, Kyle, Kayleen, Ruby, Amanda, Declan, Candice, Mylee, and Brook.
Funeral arrangement meetings are being held daily at his residence in Mulaha Siaya.
A requiem mass will be held on 3rd April 2026 at St. Stephen Ombwede ACK Siaya and the burial on Saturday, 4th April 2026 at Oriang’ Village, Mulaha sub-location in Alego, Siaya.
