It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Daniel Munene Kimanyo (DK Munene) of Bucon Furniture,Soiree & Bavaria Gardens and Hill Side Grill on 20th September 2025, while receiving treatment at Coptic Hospital.
He was the loving husband of Rosemary Njambi Kimanyo, son of Hannah Wanjiru and the late John Munene, son in-law of Grace Kanyi and the late James Karanu.
Father of Anne Wanjiru, Grace Muthoni, Catherine Wangari, Christine Wanjiru, John Munene and Joseph Wambugu Kimanyo.
Brother of Joseph & Miriam Wambugu, Margaret & Charles Muchemi, Samuel & Mary Ndegwa, Jane Munene & Isaac of (Murang’a G.Hospital), Lucy Munene, and William Munene & Carol of USA.
Brother in-law of Wanjiku, Kimani,Wakonyo and Stephen Karani. Uncle of John Munene NBK and others.
Grandfather, uncle, cousin, mentor and friend to many.
The Requiem Service will be held at ACK St. Francis Karen at 11.00a.m on Thursday, 2nd October 2025.
The Cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home (Kabati) at 9.00a.m on Friday, 3rd October 2025, and thereafter the Burial Service will be held at PCEA Kariguini Church, Nyeri County, at 11.00a.m.
