It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Ms. Charity Mulunde Kitonga, formerly of the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF), on Thursday, 3rd July 2025 at The Aga Khan Hospital, after a short illness.
Charity was the beloved daughter of the late Mr. James Kitonga Mulika and the late Mrs. Joyce Ndungwa Kitonga.
She was a cherished sister of Catherine Muoti, Musembi Kitonga, Kasyoki Kitonga, and the late Sylvia Nzakwa, and sister-in-law of Janet Kasyoki.
She was a loving aunt of Dennis Kibet, Cheryl Ndungwa, Virginia Kiloko, and James Kitonga.
She was a niece of the late Kavoo and Rita Mulika, the late Kavisu Mulika and Joyce Kavisu, the late Mr.& Mrs. Muindi Mulika, the late Veronica Kuluka, the late Francisca Mbinya, the late Musyimi Mulika and Rhoda Musyimi, Mary Kimeu, the late Ruth Munguti, the late James Mutua Kasyoki and Grace Mutua, the late Sammy Kasyoki, Margret Kasyoki, Mr. & Mrs. Peter Mumo, Mr. & Mrs. David Kasyoki, the late Joe Musyimi and Nduku, the late Michael Ngilu and Hon. Charity Ngilu, the late Mukithia, Kiisyo, Kiloko Kasyoki, and Ngotho Kasyoki.
She was a cousin of King’oku, Mati, Aisha, Mulika, Musyoki, among many others.
A requiem mass will be held on Friday, 11th July 2025, at the Christco Christian Centre, Uhuru Park, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The cortege will depart Aga Khan Hospital Funeral Home, Nairobi, at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, 12th July 2025, followed by burial at her family’s home in Kyaani Village, Kyaani Sub-location, Machakos Sub-county, Machakos County.
