The Kadundo family in association with the KDF regrets to announce the demise of Brig. (Rtd) Joseph Asuna Ouda which occurred on the 3.3.2026 after a short illness bravely borne.
He was the son of the late Johanness and mama Rusallia Magombre Ouda Asuna.
Step son of the late Mama Ludfina Ouda. He was the husband of Quinta Clare Aduogo and Noel Achieng’ Odongo.
Parents in laws are late Martin and Magdalena Aduogo – Nyabondo – Nyakach/late Joe and Jenipher Odongo of Ombeyi Muhoroni
He is survived by and 10 children namely Edwin Ouda, Rita Apiyo Asuna, Dennis Odongo Asuna, Vera Arogo (late), Mercy Akinyi Asuna, Johanness Martin Asuna Ouda, Sasha Asuna (late), Marlia Asuna, Anthony Alloys Ouda, and Jenipher Rusallia Asuna.
Brother of Fabian Ouda,Washington Guya Ouda, Joseph Kai Ouda, Mary Aluoch, Margaret Okumu, Jane Ogada (all late) and Sylvance Ouda.
Cousin of Phillip Kola, Rehema Dosoo, Dalmas Kola, Raphael Kola, Mary Ochanyo, Cosmas Ochanyo, Edward Adera among others. He was the father in law of Lorna Onyango and had two grandkids namely Ashley Onyango & Mark Onyango.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru on Friday 27.3.2026 for a night vigil at his home in Alendu -Bwanda Village Kadibo Sub-County, Kisumu.
And the burial will take place at the same place on the 28.3.2026 under the stewardship of St. Benedict Alendu Catholic Parish and the KDF Military Chaplaincy.
