It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs Anne Chepkurui Serser Ogutu formerly of Nakuru west primary school Nakuru and of Nyamagesa Village, Nyamagesa Location, Kisii County, which occurred on 21st February 2026 in Nyankononi sub-location Masaba South.
She was wife of Thomas Ogutu Ondimu and co-wife of Jane Ogutu. Devoted mother of Frank Ombese, Peris Kerubo, Maureen Kemunto, Diana Kwamboka and step mother of Joy Kemunto.
She was the daughter of the late Sonoiya Arap Serser, the late Leah Serser and the late Elizabeth Cherono Serser of Sachangwan Division Molo sub-county Nakuru County.
She was Sister of Bornes Langat, David Sonoiya, Betty Chepkwony Ngeno, Henry Sonoiya and Hillary Sonoiya, Sally Kenduiywa, Lydia Maluche, Evrline Kirui, Dr. Stanley Sonoiya, Emily Mutai, Norah Chepkurui and Benard Sonoiya.
Sister in-law of Ruth, Judith, Diana, late Everlene and Brenda.
She was daughter in-law of the late Simeon Ondimu Ogutu and the late Jeria Kemunto Ondimu.
She was sister in-law of Janice & Orina of Eldoret, Fren and Nyangau of Nyamira, Sam & Norah of USA, Dr. Gerald & Jane of USA, Rose & Nyaundi of Kisii,Vanon & Jemimah of Nyamagesa, Esther Nyamusi of Nakuru and Clamson & Deborah of USA.
She was also a sister in-law, cousin and auntie to many.
The cortege will leave the Nairobian Funeral Parlor, Kisii on Monday 2nd March 2026 at 7.00 a.m.
for a burial service and interment on the same day at Nyamagesa Village.
Friends and relatives are welcome to join the family for a service and prayers on Saturday 28th February 2026 and a night vigil on Sunday 1st March 2026 at Nyamagesa home.
