It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Alex Kiilu Ndeti, who passed away on 6th February 2026 while receiving treatment at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi.
He was the beloved son of the late Patrick Ndeti and the late Idah Ndeti; devoted husband of Miriam Kavindu; loving father of Judy Kiilu and Cherise Mueni; father-in-law of Boniface Mbithi; and cherished grandfather of Travis and Tyler.
Alex was a dear brother of the late Mutua Ndeti, Ester Waqo Ndeti, the late Mutheke Ndeti, and Musya Ndeti.
He was a caring uncle of Evans, Amina, Aidah, Mwende, Cynthia, Junior, Hope, Abigail, and Dan.
He was brother-in-law of Ali Wako, Faith Mwelu, and Veronica Mutheke and an in-law of Tom Musili and Catherine Musili.
He was the grandson of the late Mutheke, the late Julius Kiilu, the late Peter Nzuki, the late Nthiwa, the late Mulili, the late Prof. Kivuto, the late Ngondu, the late Kiloko, the late Nthambi, the late Nzwili, and Nyiva Kiilu, Syokwia Kiilu, and Cecilia.
He shared a close bond with his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins, including the late Mwania, the late Anna, Lengesi, the late Nzioka, the late Nzomo, Mwose, the late Matheka ,Waeni, Ndinda, the late Wambua, John Ndeti, Velesi, Mwisya, Musyoki, Thyiaka, Matei, Kyende, Mary, Kamene, Mbithe, Mumbua, Her Excellency the Governor of Machakos County – Wavinya Ndeti, Mwelu, Tabitha, Zipporah, Christine, Rhoda, Margaret, Kathini, Ndunge, Hon. Hellen Ndeti, Elizabeth Ngao, among others.
He was also cousin of Mutiso, Nick, Mutheke, Wasyinze, Nelly, Junior, Ruga, Nthiwa, among many others.
Daily burial planning meetings are being held at his home, adjacent to Lone View Access Road, off Mombasa Road, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The burial will take place on Saturday, 14th February 2026, at the Ndeti Family Ancestral Home in Mua Hills, Machakos County.
