It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Adrianne Mumbi Waititu, which occurred on Saturday, 11th October 2025, at Nairobi West Hospital.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Peter Waititu Gatura and the late Alice Kuthii Waititu.
A devoted mother of Andrew Waititu. A loving sister of the late Joseph Gatura, Charles Kiruai, Christine Wambui, Ann Njoki, and Jennifer Muthoni.
She was a dear sister-in-love of Benson Githumbi, Fenton Otieno, Gerald Muigai, and Aisha Wambui.
She was a cherished aunt of Erick, Khadija, Tracy, Brian, Hazel, Kayla, Juliet, Regina, Elaine, Tamara, and Ramona, and a doting grandmother to Njeri, Nusrat, and Nafsat.
A church funeral service will be held on Thursday, 23rd October 2025, at Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi, commencing at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Lang’ata Cemetery.
Mumbi will be fondly remembered for her kind heart, calm spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
