It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Stephen Kimani Gichohi from Riabai, Kiambu which occurred at the Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi on 12th September 2025.
He was a loving husband of Margaret Njeri Kimani.
Son of the late Nahashon Gichohi and the late Josephine Nyarumbwa.
Dear father of Robert Gichohi of Puyallup WA, Josephine Nyarumbwa of Scotland, UK and Joyce Wangeci of Canada.
Father in law of Geoffrey Waikwa Muchiri.
Doting grandfather of Jermaine Kimani, Stephen Kimani, Andrew Kimani and Muchiri Waikwa.
Loving brother of the late Edith Kimani, Rachel Njuguna, Martin Mwaura, the late Geoffrey Githinji Gichohi, Martha Njuguna, John Chiira, Joyce Gikonyo, Sarah Mwangi & Emily Wanjiru.
Son-in-law of the late Duncan Mathia and the late Joyce Thuku.
Brother-in-law of the late Virginia Wanjiru, the late Doris Wambui, the late Rosemary Njambi, the late James Ngige, Anthony Thuku, Pauline Mukirae, Lucy Kinuthia and Elizabeth Mbugua.
He was an uncle and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting at the family home in Edenville Estate, Kiambu from 4.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (Membley Bypass) on Friday 19th September 2025 at 8:00 am.
Funeral service will be held at ACK St Pauls Church, Kiambu at 11:00 am and thereafter interment at Ruthiru-ini Riabai, Kiambu County.
