It is with great sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Nancy Wakera Kinyua on 9th September She was a resident of Kasarani Sportsview Estate.
She was a daughter of Daniel Mwai Gathuki and Loise Nyawira. Wife of Charles Kinyua Karanja. Mother of Keneth Karanja Kinyua and Maryann Nyawira Kinyua.
Daughter-in-law of Nichodemus Karanja and Elizabeth Nyambura.
She was a sister of Janet, Francis, Mary, Jennifer, Josephine, James, Faith, Josphat, John and Henry.
Auntie of Teddy Mwai, among others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at Sportsview Hotel from 6.00pm at Aberdare Hall.
There will be a requiem mass on Tuesday 16th sept 2025 at Queen of Apostle’s Catholic Church – Ruaraka, opposite (Safari Park Hotel) from 3.00pm.
The cortege leaves Montezuma – Kabati on Wednesday 17th September at 8.00AM to St. Allamano Catholic Church – Sagana, for funeral mass at 10.00am.
Thereafter the late Nancy will be laid to rest at her farm in Githuguya, Sagana, Kirinyaga County..
