With acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on of Sabina Nyambura Mwangi, the beloved wife of Peter Mwangi Kiromo of Kagira, Murang’a which occurred on September 9, 2025.
Sabina was the daughter of the late Jason Wainaina and Elenah Njeri and the mother of John and Catherine Karanja, Charles and Minica Wainaina, Mary and Dawson Muthie, Grace and Joe Muigai, George Mburu and the late Margaret Wanjiru.
She was the sister of Erastus Mburu Wainaina, Thomas Wanyoike Wainaina, George Gitau Wainaina, Pauline Muthoni Macharia, Mary Nyaguthie Njenga, Teresia Wanjiru Wanjau, Alice Nyambura Ndegwa, Jacinta Wanjiku Chege, Joyce Wanjiru Wainaina and the late Simon Kang’ethe Wainaina and Benson Wathome Wainaina.
She was the grandmother of Margaret Nyambura, George Gachago, Collins Mwangi, Eric Wainaina, Julius Gatuma, Caroline Nyambura, Malcom Mwangi, Samuel Amanaka, Joanne Njeri, Titus Macharia, Allan Peter Mwangi, Nicholas Muigai, Catherine Njoki, Eric Mwangi and the great grandmother of Isaac Gatheca, Joy Nyanjugu, Tania Waitherero, David Kariuki, Dhalia Wanjiru, Christian Macharia, Jordan Dawson Muthie.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday September 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the family home in Kagira village, Gaichanjiru location, Muranga County.
