It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dorcas Kariuki Wabera which occurred on 31 st August 2025, after post delivery operation complications.
She was born on 26th July 2000 in Kauwi, Kitui to Bernard Kariuki Ireri and Mary Malia Kimele.
Until her death she was an established journalist and blogger at MDOSI ONLINE™.
The departed was wife of Daudi Dabasso Wabera and a young mother of Said Wabera Dabasso and Saffo Wairimu Wabera.
Daughter-in-law of the late Said Dabasso Wabera and Margaret Wairimu Wabera of Saku, Marsabit County.
Sister of Dennis Mugendi, Moreen Wawira, Ruth Mbenya and Shadrack Kimele.
Sister-in-law of Ida Clare Wabera and John Diba Wabera.
She was a beloved cousin of Connie, Selina, Lydia, Dennis, Salim, Coniey, Kennedy, Peninah, Moses Wambua, Naomi, Philomena Koki, Moses Kimele, among many others.
She was also a loving aunt of Deborah Museo and Remilyn Zuri, and a treasured niece of Nyagah, Nancy, the late Nthiga, Daisy, Margaret, Ephantus, Phyllis, Philomena, Mutevu, the late Ngiko, Rebecca, the late Obadiah, and Ndunge.
Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Lower Kabete near Wangige Level 4 Hospital.
On Thursday 11th September 2025, the cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching, Training and Referral Hospital (KUTTRH) Funeral Home at 9.00am for
Langata Cemetery Private Area, Nairobi for the funeral service and internment from 10.00am.
