It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Hon.Dr.Julius M. Njiri which Occurred after a short illness on 31st August 2025.
He was the First Deputy Governor of Kirinyaga County, Lecturer at KCA University, Chuka University and PAC University among others.
Beloved husband of Mary Wanjiku Karinga (Wise Shepherd Academy).
Son of the late Joram Njiri and the late Ruth Wanjuki Njiri, the late Hannah Mutitu Njiri and Sicily Muthoni Njiri.
Son in-law of the late John Karinga and Grace Wanjira.
Father of Evelyne Ivy Wambui, Grace Nyawira and Timothy Njiri.
Father in-law of Timothy Kamau and William Nyawalo.
Loving grandfather of Tatiana, Neil, Raphael, Aaron and Theo, an uncle and friend of many.
Brother of Johnson Machira, Bishop Francis Njine, the late John Mwaniki, Agnes Wandia, Terry Wambeti and Monica Wakuthie and other beloved step brothers and sisters.
Brother In-law of Priscilla Beke, Lucy Muthii, Joseph Karinga, Jane Muchiri, MCA Peter Karinga (Tebere Ward), Faith Mwinga, David Karinga, Alice Karani (KRA) and Mr & Mrs Eutychus Ndegwa and the late Mr & Mrs Joab Francis Nyawalo.
Friends and family are meeting daily at Mwanganjo Comfort Mwea at their family home in Kiamanyeki Mwea and at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Friday 5th September 2025.
The cortège leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati at 7:00 am on Tuesday 9th September 2025 for a funeral service at ACK St Lukes Mwea and burial at his rural home at Kiamanyeki village.
