CONCEPTA MORAA OTISO

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Ms.Concepta Moraa Otiso, which occurred on Monday, August 25th, 2025, at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi.

Until her demise, she was a dedicated employee of the Ministry of Lands, Housing, and Urban Development (State Department for Housing). 

She was a loving mother of the late Brian Mocha. Dearly beloved daughter of Mr. Francis Otiso and Mrs. Sabina Otiso.

A cherished sister of Stella, the late Philip, the late Rose, Gilbert (DCI HQ), Felister (UK), Fred, Orendo (Nairobi Hospital), and Jacinta.

A devoted niece of the late Morris, the late Serreta, Mosomi, Oichoe, Ombagi, Francis, Christina, Thomas, Consolata, and the late Aboma.

She was a caring aunt of the Mochas, Bicutus, Bosire, Aboma, Gesare, and many others.

fond cousin of the Moraas, Orendos, Simantos, Okemwas, Osoros, Mochas, Kemuntos, George, Matoke, AIbert, Victor, Lydia, Cynchia, Sikini, Kevin, and others. A supportive sister-in-law of Stellah, Rose, CaroIyne, Jack, Ann, and Ruth.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her residence in Katani Estate, Serenity Court.

A fundraising service to offset medical and burial expenses will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, from 5pm – 8pm at All Saints Cathedral (Valley Road), Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, for her final journey to her rural home in Kenyerere Village, in Rigoma Division Nyamira County, on Friday 5th September, 2025.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
