It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Betty Jepngetchi Rotich (IEBC), Until her demise she was an Assistant Election Officer Mosop Constituency, at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
She was the loving daughter of Rotich Kimatui and Teriki Rotich, the wife of the late Joseph Koross, and a devoted mother of Tevin Kipkemboi and Rayan Kiptoo (Australia).
She was the beloved sister of Esther (USA), Caleb, John, Henry (Former CS National Treasury), Susan, Edna (Rose ‘n’ Roses), Barnabas, Moses (Vegpride), Lenah (NSSF), and Janet (LAPFUND). She was also a cherished sister-in-law, niece, cousin and aunt to many.
Planning meetings are being held daily at 5:00 p.m. at her parents’ home (Kaptagat Scheme) and at Haven Stay (Elgon View).
Fundraising will be held on Sunday, 12th July, at her parents’ home (Kaptagat Scheme) and on Tuesday, 14th July (Wagon Wheel Hotel) Eldoret.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 16th July, for a memorial service at PCEA Church Ushirika, opposite Hill School.
Thereafter, the body will proceed for a night vigil. She will be laid to rest on Friday, 17th July, at her parents’ home (Kaptagat Scheme).
