It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Esther Mibey, that occured on 1st July 2026 after a short illness.
She was the loving wife of Mr. John Mibey of Kapchemuigut (Kapmibey), Kapkorio Village, Ollessos Ward, Nandi County and a cherished mother of Dennis and Linda Mibey, Deborah Ogwankwa and Peter Muma, and Deveney Mibey.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Bartera Arap Moiyo, the late Ludia Moiyo, and the late Anna Moiyo.
She was the daughter-in-law of the late William Chemuigut, the late Joyce Chemuigut, and Everlyne Chemuigut.
She was sister-in-law to the late Hellen, Mary, Samuel, Leah, Ann, Sally, Eunice, Nehemiah, Zephania, Apicha, Cosmas, Mercy, Judith, Eric, Jeptoo, Jepkirui and Kelvin.
She was the beloved sister to Flora, the late Leah, Abraham, the late Sarah, Nehemiah, Peres, Chris, Pauline, David, Isaac, Everlyne, Sammy, Elseba, Priscila, Rebby, Dan, Amos, Caren, Rael, Joan, and Joel.
She was co-wife to Irine and Regina.
There will a fundraising Monday, 13th July 2026 at A.I.C Milimani, Nairobi, from 5:30 PM and on Tuesday, 14th July 2026 at her home, Kapchemuigut (Kapmibey), Kapkorio Village, Ollessos Ward, from 2:00 p.m.
The body leaves Samaritan Funeral Home on Friday, 17th July 2026, for a church service at St. Andrew’s ACK Church.
The funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday, 18th July 2026, at her home, Kapchemuigut (Kapmibey), Kapkorio Village, Ollessos Ward, Nandi County.
