He was son of the late Mzee Akumu Onyiiego and the late Mama Wilfrida Aimba. Step-son of the late Dolrosa Randiek, the late Gladys Oyondi, the late Jael Otiu, the late Sophia Janganga and the late Bendetta Orwa.
Beloved husband of the late Esther Vuyanzi Odhiambo. Father of Collins Akumu Odhiambo, Brian Omondi Odhiambo and Arnold Kibira Odhiambo.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Wednesday 1st July, 2026 for a Memorial Service at ACK St. Luke’s Umoja from 3.00 p.m.
Burial will be held on Friday 3rd July, 2026 at his home in Migori County.
