It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Dr. Stellamaris Kanyiva which occurred on 17th June 2026, following a road accident on 14th June 2026 along Mombasa Road.
She was a dedicated Chief Senior Physiotherapist at Mwala Level IV Hospital, Machakos, until her recent retirement.
Daughter of the late Vavu Kilango and late Dorothy Nthaku. Sister of Tabitha, Cosmus, Lydia, Annastasia, and Wambua.
Mother of Benjamin Kivuva, Morris Ngilu, Claire Mumbua, Mary Syokau and Daniel Mwendwa. Grandmother of Raymond, Fidelis, Sylvia, Serena, Ashley, Januaris, Dennis, Nickson, Stellamaris, Leon, and Jayson.
Mother-in-law of Winfred and Damaris. Sister-in-law of Monica, Margaret, late David, and late Nzomo. Aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kaseve, along Machakos-Kitui Road, for prayers.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos, on Friday, 26th June 2026 at 8:00 AM, followed by a funeral service and burial at her Kaseve home, Kipandini sub location, Muputi Location, Machakos County, starting at 10:00 AM.
