It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Grace Mumbi Wachira on 17th June 2026.
She was the daughter of the late Ibrahim Kingori and the late Gladys Mbuki. Beloved wife of Mr.Michael Wambugu Wachira of Kugeria Estate, Mushroom Road.
Loving mother of Ruth Stella Wanja, Nehemiah Wachira, Gladys Waithera (Ohio, USA) and Loise Wangechi.
Cherished grandmother of Makena Mumbi, Michael Wambugu, Wanjiru Wachira and Muthoni Mwangi.
Mother-in-love of Eric Muriithi, and Noreen Wachira.
Sister of the late Eliud Gichohi, Priscillah Wanjiru, Eva Maina, the late Edith Gitata, the late Bernice Wachira, and Phyllis Kirigo.
Sister-in-law of the late Amos Mwangi, the late Loise Kariuki, the late John Ndung’u, the late Johanna Wagura, Eunice Wangui Mathenge, the late Karweni Wachira.
Auntie to many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are meeting daily at their family home in Mushroom Gardens Estate (off Nairobi-Kiambu Road) from 4:30 PM.
There will be a Memorial service at PCEA Evergreen church on Wednesday, 24th June 2026 at 4:00 PM.
Burial will be held at PCEA Githakwa Church, Tetu, Nyeri County on Friday, 26th June 2026 from 10:00 AM.
