It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Charles Onkundi Osoro that occurred on Tuesday 9th June 2026 after a short illness.
Cherished husband of Susan Osoro. He was the son of Samuel Osoro Oirere and the Late Elizabeth Kemuma and Truphena Osoro.
Son in-law of the late David Mochama and the late Tabitha Nyasuguta.
Korera of Peter Nyachio & the late Annah Kemunto, the late Evans Obwocha & Askah Obwocha, Justus Wanambiro & Judith Nekoye, Ben Motari and Margaret Ayieni.
Loving father of Dr. Oirere (CUEA), Newton (NEMA), Dalphine (Australia), and John (NPSC).
Loving father in-law of Hellen (Voi hospital), Dr. Deborah (KNH) Dr. Kevin (Australia) and Triza (Mbagathi Hospital).
Brother of the late Kebati, the late Anne, Nyang’anyi, Tom, Mochaywa, Nyakagwa, Hellen, Esther, Nyanduko, Mosioma, Jane, Timothy, Omwenga, Nyandemo and Maranga.

There will be fundraising events on 16th June 2026 at his Chuna residence in Kitengela, Professional Centre Building in Nairobi and Mecheo home to help offset medical and funeral expenses.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home (Raila Odinga Way) on Thursday 18th June 2026 for an overnight vigil at his Mecheo home.
The burial will take place on 19th June 2026 at Mecheo village, Esise Ward, Borabu Sub-County in Nyamira County.
