It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lawrence Kiama Mwangi, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on 27th May 2026.
Beloved husband of Mary Muthoni Kiama. Loving father of the late William Kiama, John Kiama, Elizabeth Kiama, Stephen Kiama, and Nicholas Kiama.
Father-in-law of Betty Karoki, Mercy Kiama, Mercy Rigua and Abigael Kadaji.
Grandfather of Myles, Precy, Mckenna, Lindsay, Jasmine, Liam, Leo and the late Hotani.
Son of Mwangi Wanjama and Elizabeth Wakonyu.
Brother of the late Stephen Mureithi, Grace Wangu, Loise Muthoni, Geoffrey Gichohi, Irene Njeri, and many others.
Family and friends meetings are being held at his Pangani home.
A memorial service will be held in his honour on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026, at the Goan Institute (next to Pangani Police Station), Ngara.
The cortege will leave Montezuma funeral home on Friday, 5th June 2026, at 8 am for burial ceremony at PCEA Mathaithi Church, Karatina, Nyeri County.
