It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Lucy Karambu Washika, which occurred on 26th May 2026 after a short illness.
She was the loving wife of John Washika and loving mother of Jerome and Samantha Washika (Chicago, USA).
She was the loving daughter of the late Patrick Kaibunga (formerly of Kenyatta University) and Muthoni Kaibunga.
Beloved daughter-in-law of Ms.Rose Washika, and beloved sister-in-law of Michelle Olivia Washika.
Cherished sister of Stella Kaome and David Kalya; Makena Kaibunga; Muriuki Kaibunga and Mwenda Kaibunga.
Beloved aunty, cousin, niece, relative and friend to many.
She will be dearly missed by family, friends and all whose lives she touched in her unique and special way.
The requiem mass will be held this Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ruiru at 11am.
May the Almighty God rest Karambu’s soul in eternal peace.
