It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Martha Wambui (Thuca) on the 27th May 2026 at Coptic hospital Nairobi.
She was the daughter of the late Philip Wainaina (Thuca) and the late Rhoda Wanjiku.
Wife of the late Peter Njuguna Kamau.
Sister of the late Milkah Ndire, late Bernard Muiruri, Priscilla Muthoni, Nelius Wanjiru, Elizabeth Mumbi, late John Njuguna and late Joshua Njoroge.
Mother of Rhoda Wanjiku, late James Kamau, Philip Wainaina, Daniel Mwaura and Simon Mukiri.
Mother in law of Jane Kamau, Dr. Mary Wainaina, Esther Mwaura and Anne Mukiri.
Grandmother of Njuguna, Njeri, Wanjiru, Nelius, Nicholas, Kevin, Mark, Kamau, Silvia, Sandra, Silas, Felix, Francis and Felistus.
She was great grand mother and auntie to many others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Thangira, Makuyu from 5pm and in All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from 5 pm.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Friday 5th June 2026 for a service and burial at her home Thangira .
