It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms Ida Njeri Muhoho formerly of World Bank, Washington DC. She passed on Wednesday, 27th May, 2026.
Njeri is the daughter of the late Mwalimu Peter Gerry Muhoho and the late Elizabeth Wangare Warago.
Beloved sister of Pauline Wambui Muhuhu (formerly of IntraHealth/Pathfinder), Professor Dominic Ngethe Muhoho (formerly of Kenyatta University), Theresia Kariru Kamau, Jacinta Njeri Muhoho (formerly of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force), Epiphany Nduta Njuguna (former Principal Gathirimu Girls High School), Assumpta Wanjiku Lee-Steere (formerly of UNDP and the Kenya Embassy, USA), Dr Pascalia Wanjiru Muhoho-Minni (Namibia University of Science and Technology) and Njoki C Muhoho (Zebra Productions Kenya).
Loving Aunt to Alfred, Robert Muhoho Kamau, Elizabeth Wangari Mukundi, Anthony Muhoho Waweru, Philip Njuguna Mwanika, Dr M.C. Wangare among other nieces and nephews.
The funeral service and interment will be held at the family home, Rosary Farm, Kanunga, Kiambu County, on Friday, 5th June 2026, at 11.00 a.m.
