It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Lydia Wanjiru Kariuki, which occurred in London, UK.
Daughter of Rachel Ngina Kariuki and the late Julius Kariuki Mwangi. Sister of Rose Nyambura, Peter Mwangi, Virginia Nyawira, and Margaret Wanjiku.
Sister-in-law of Daniel K. Mwaura, Margaret Wanjiru, Kennedy Melonye, and Daniel Lomina.
Cherished auntie of Darkene and Darren Mwaura; Ian, Julie, and Leon Mwangi; Ryan, Adrian, and Shawn Melonye; Leshan and Teteyian Lomina.
Cherished niece, cousin and friend to many.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the family home: 23 Mage Close, Kimani Road, Ongata Rongai.
There will be a funeral meeting at St Andrews PCEA Church on Tuesday 26th May 2026 from 5.00pm.
