It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Kennedy Gichohi Wanjiru of the Cooperative Bank of Kenya.
Loving husband of Mary Wanjiku.
Devoted father of Leon Gichohi, Olive Gichohi, and Jeremy Gichohi.
Beloved son of Lucy Wanjiru and Son in law of Beatrice Wangari and Peter Karatu of Makuyu.
Brother of Betty Wairimu. Brother in law of Vincent Mburu, Francis Gitau, Esther Njeri,Lilian Nyambura and Consolata Wambui.
Grandson of the late Douglas Mwembu and Mary Mwembu.
He was a nephew of Lucy and Peter Gitahi, Anne and Charles Kamari, Judith and Francis Gichuki, Jane and Nicholas Mugo and Albert Maina.
Cousin of Tiffany, Yvonne, Seraphine, Joses, Vincent, the late Andrew, Louis, Hanys, Jeremy, and Jemimah.
He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are meeting daily at their home in King’ongo, Nyeri from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home at Kabati Thika road on Saturday, 23rd May 2026 at 7:00 am for a funeral service and burial thereafter at his family home in Kirichu,Nyeri (Opposite St.Agnes Catholic Church.)
