It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely death of Michael Kariuki Thomas on May 6th at his home in Burguret.
He was the son of Donald and Ruth Thomas, husband of Nancy, father of Sirimon and Megan and brother of Anne and Tim.
A water engineer, his company, Rural Focus, brought water to so many people across Kenya, from Kakuma, to Kibera, Kwale and beyond.
He was a wonderful human being, a great son, husband, father, brother and friend to so many, including the Daily Nation of which he never missed a day.
There will be a celebration of life June 6th , 2.00pm at the Nanyuki Sports Club.
From Stardust he came and to Stardust he has returned.
