It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr.Ronald Musyoki Mathooko (Rtd, County Statistical Officer, KNBS), following a period of ill health.
Son of the late Joel Mathooko Nthenge and the late Grace Mukenyi. Devoted husband of Serah Ndunge Musyoki (Rtd. Nurse, Machakos Level 5 Hospital).
Father of Annette Mukenyi Katule (Kyemutheke Sec. School), Nancy Musyoki (South Eastern Kenya University), Dr. Rebecca Musyoki Orerah (Nairobi City County), and Joel Musyoki.
Son in law of the late James King’ola and the late Phyllis King’ola. Father-in-law of David Katule (Machakos TTC) and Dr. George Orerah (Machakos Level 5 Hospital).
Grandfather of Vincent Manthi, Frank Katule, Hope Ndunge, Nathan Mshindi, Ethan Taji, and Jasmine Zuri.
Brother of the late Rhoda Mbingu, Rosemary Mbeke, Prof. Jude Mathooko, Dr. Joseph Mathooko, Prof. Francis Mathooko, the late Musau Mathooko, the late Jamhuri Mathooko, Bonnie Mathooko, and Paul Mathooko.
Brother-in-law of Jane Mutuku, Jane Kioko, Prof. Petronilla Mathooko, Jennifer Musau, the late Margaret Nthenge, Caroline Mutua, Petronilla Makau, Annah Kisoi, Esther Mutiso, Tabitha King’ola, Elizabeth Mutinda and Pius King’ola.
Nephew of Nyiva Kasyoki, the late Michael Mutisya, Beatrice Mutisya, the late David Kavoo, Rose Kavoo,Wanza Mweki and Nzilani Kyanui among others.
Cousin of Christine Wayua, Ndambuki, and Kioko, among others.
Beloved and cherished uncle to many.
Friends and Family are meeting daily at the family home in Metuma Village.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday 9th May, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. at Metuma Primary School grounds, Kaloleni, off Machakos-Kangundo Road followed by interment at his home in Metuma Village.
