It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mama Rebecca Kwamboka Osoro. She was the wife of the late Mwalimu Andrew Osoro Mbegera.
She was the daughter of the late Bethwel Mokaya Nyangarora and the late Peris Nyaruri Mokaya.
She was the mother of Joyce and Elijah, Willian and Ruth, James and the late Joyce and Mercy, Pamela and the late Nicodemus, Gladys and Charles, Jared and Bilha, and Victor and Guinnstar.
She was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and enjoyed the love of the wider family of Mzee Naftali Mbegera, Osoro, Sansora, Nyagoi and Basweti, all her siblings in the Mokaya family, and her nieces and nephews.
The cortege leaves the Nairobi Family Funeral Parlour in Kisii Sunday April 12, 2026 for her home at Obwari Village, Nyakumbati Sub-location, Riamakanda Location, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.
There will be a funeral ceremony at Obwari Primary School, on Monday April 13, 2026, followed by the burial ceremony at her home on the same day.
