It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved patriarch Mr. Edward Njuguna Kirina of Kangemi which occurred on Wednesday the 1st of April 2026.
He was the beloved husband of Josephine Kaari Kirina.
Cherished father of Aestimo Kirina & Damaris Wambui, Africanius Waweru, Grace Nyaruiru & David Fennel and Andrew Muratha & Hellen Wairimu.
Treasured grandfather of Mya Kaari, Lisa Mumbi, Bella Wendo, Eddy Njuguna, Djimon Edward and Arren John Fennel.
Precious brother of Nelly Wanjiru Nyoro, Jane Wambui Munene, the late Loise Murugi Mbire, the late Andrew Muratha Kirina, the late George Gicheru Kirina, the late Esther Waithira Barongo, the late Priscilla Nyambura Kirina, the late Margaret Muthoni Chokwe, the late Beatrice Njoki Kanegeni and the late Virginia waceke Kirina.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kangemi next to the Post Office from 2:00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral home on Thursday April 9th 2026 at 10:30 am for requiem mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, Kangemi at 11:00 am and burial thereafter at his Kangemi home, next to Kangemi Post Office
