It is with deep sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of Margaret Nyokabi (Nyox) Mwai, formerly of Central Bank of Kenya, who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday 1st April 2026 at Jamaa Mission Hospital in Nairobi after a short illness.
She was a devoted mother of Ivy Wairimu Mwai.
She was the daughter of the late James Mwai Gathiiya and Mrs. Mary Nyakairu Mwai of Narumoru. Sister of John Mwai (Bjay), late Anthony Irungu Mwai, late Catherine Wanjiru Denge and June Wangu Mwai. She was a grandmother to Jada Wambui and Zion Mungai. Aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
The cortege leaves Narumoru Level 4 Hospital on Friday 10th April 2026 at 9:00am.
Thereafter, a funeral service and burial will take place at her family home in Narumoru.
