It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend, Mzee Mariko Kirwa Sing’oei which occurred on Saturday, 28th March 2026.
He was a loving husband of the late Gogo Selly Sing’oei.
Devoted father of Mathew (Posta), Philemon, Naumy, Emily (USA), Paul (USA), Nimrod, Shadrack, Sarah, and Jacob. Father-in-law of Josephat, Joshua (Former Chairman KenGen), Joyce, Sarah, Grace, Naomy, Consolata, and Nancy.
Cherished grandfather of David (KenGen), Norah (USA), Allan (USA), Edward (USA), Lesley (CPF), Nixon (Mombasa), Alvan (MU), Diana (USA) among many, and a great-grandfather of several.
Agui was a respected elder in the community, leader of the AIC church, known for his wisdom, humility, and unwavering faith.
He was a retired teacher and farmer who dedicated his life to his family and the development of his community.
Family, relatives, and friends are meeting daily at his homestead in Saniak, Nandi county daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.
A fundraiser will be held at his home on Sunday 5th April, 2026 from 12.00pm.
