It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will to announce the demise of Sergeant (Sgt) Gideon Sila Ngumbi of NPS (Ruai Police Station) which occurred after a short illness, he was son of the late Aaron Ngumbi Mutie (Kotoe) and Elizabeth Ngumbi.
Grandson of the late Gideon Kamitu and late Lucia Nzisa, late Mutie Nduva and late Mukamweu.
Beloved husband of Alice Sila. Father of Brian Ngumbi, Haron Sila,Victor Mutie, Queen Elizabeth Nduku.
Brother of Agnes Nzisa, Rose Nthenya, Jane Koske (Chuka Police Station), Mariana Mulili, Ann Mutinda, Naomi Mutuku.
Step brother of Syombua, Muisyo, Mutie, Major Martin among others.
Son-in-law of Charles Nzau and late Ruth Wayua.
Brother in-law of late James Kavoi, late David Koske, Joel Mulili, Erick Mutinda Francis Mutuku, Etir Nalengo, Martin Muema, Ruth Nina and Rael Kavuu. Uncle of Caroline, Charity, Tony, Irene, Cherop, Ryan, Colins, Aaron, Paisley, Sandra, Sanchez, Haddasah, Emmanuel among others.

Preparations and planning is taking place at his homestead Sengani Tala Location.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Mortuary Machakos on 4/4/2026.
Burial and prayers will be on the same day at his homestead Sengani Village Tala Location Matungulu Sub-County.
