It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christopher Matata Lati on 16th March, 2026 in Emali, Makueni. He was the son of the late Lati Muli and the late Ndiwa Lati.
He was the beloved husband of Rebecca Nthambi Lati. He was the loving father of Cecilia Mbithe, Felix Muli, Lati Matata and Abyssinia Mwikali.
He was the proud grandfather of Luka, Ras,Trey, Suki and Neema and father-in-law of Maureen Kivutha Lati and Mary Goretti Lati.
He was a brother of the late Mulewa, Nduulu, Wilson, the late Muendi, Peter, the late Makite Lati and a brother-in-law of Joseph Kiundi, John Kiundi, Esther Mulli, William Kiundi, Ruth Kyatha, Richard Kiundi, Assumpta Lati among others.
A funeral meeting will be held at Don Bosco Catholic Church, Upperhill Nairobi from 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday 19th March 2026
