It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Mr. Peter Gichini Mbugua, who passed on 10th March 2026.
Beloved son of the late Mbugua Murugo and Mary Njeri Chege and son In-law of the late Mr & Mrs Stephen Chege Gakinya.
He was loving husband of Mwalimu Rosemary Wambui Gichini (Mrs. Gichini) and the loving dad of Anthony Mbugua & Esther Waithira, Florence Njeri & the late Antony Kamau, Kenneth Chege & Hannah Njoki, Stephen Chege & Jane Wanjiku and Christine Wairimu Gichini.
He was a dear brother of Teresia Wairimu Ng’ang’a, Lucy Wanjiru Njoroge, Fredrick Chege, James Kahugu, Christopher Muriu, Hannah Wambui Manda and Martin Kahihu.
Loving Guka of Stephen Mbugua, Peter Gichini Chege, Peter Gichini Kamau, Peter Gichini Mbugua, Nathan Mureithi, Geoffrey Gichini, Fredrick Kagunda, Rosemary Wambui, Jerome Chege and Samantha Wambui.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Kiambaa (Ihiga), near Kasphat from 5:00pm.
The cortege leaves Nazareth Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 18th March 2026 at 8.00 am for a funeral service at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kiambaa at 10.00am.
Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his home in Ihiga, Kiambaa.
