She is the beloved daughter of the late Clement Wafula and the late Cecilia Nangunda.
She is the devoted wife of Mr. David Wafula, Principal, Kituni Senior School.
A loving mother of Dr. Barasa Wafula (Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services), Adv. Lauris Nangila (APA Insurance), Madam Adeline Nasimiyu (Friends Senior School Chebukwabi), Adv. Sheila Nekesa (Ngigi Njuguna and Co advocates) Eng Ian Wekesa and Economist O’Brien Simiyu.
Doting grandmother of Chiara, Macarius, Precious, Leon, SydelJoey and Barron.
She is sister of Scholastica, Ridah, Electine, the late Catherine, Gladys, Margaret, Joseph, Martin, Nicholas, jackline, Constantine and otherwords.
She is daughter in-law of the late Stephen Wamalwa and late Sorophina Nabalayo.

Mother-in-law of Calystus Kisaka (legal officer EACC), Mr. Zakayo Sitati (Friends School Chebukwabi) and Dr. Judy Ayiega (KUTRRH).
She is aunt of Millicent, Christabell, Dr. Chris Barasa (CHAK), Ignatius, Edgar, Christine, Florida, George, Stella, Edwin, Bramwel, Charlotte, Faith, Sylvia, Kevin, Diana, Isabella, Andrew Sululu, Peter, Calistus, Fabius amongst others.
The cortege will leave Delight Funeral Home, Ndengelwa to St. Leo Catholic Church, Kimilili for Mass on the 10th of March at 9am, followed by a night vigil at her Kamusinga Home.
The requiem service will be on Wednesday, 11th of March 2026 at Amtalla Stadium, Kimilili, followed by burial at the family farm in Sikhendu, Kimilili Sub County, Bungoma County.
