It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr Agai Kegege Ombori, which occurred on 20th February, 2026 at Aga Khan Hospital, Kisii.
He served diligently in the Civil Service until his retirement. Son of the late Johnsilas Ombori and the late Milkah Ombori. Beloved husband of Philomena Kwamboka and Selefinah Kerubo.
Loving father of Samuel Ayioka(DCI) and Gladys, Peter Nyabuti (Civil Service) and Jackline, Adrian Moraa, Angela Kemunto, and Rooney Ombori.
Grandfather of Hayden, Logan, Kwamboka, Ella and Kerubo.
Brother of Job Ondari, the late Elijah Onyambu, the late Nyabuti, the late Naom, Jemimah, Sarah, Josephine and Florence (USA). Son-in-law of the late JohnMata Orori and Nyaboke,the late Christopher Mochache Oyunge and Julia Bosibori.
Brother-in-law of Rael, Nyaboke, the late Oimbo, the late Buru,the late Ongera, George, Cecilia, Rwanga, the late Angela, Nyandusi, Jacky, the late Margaret and Mochache.
Nephew of the late Kemunto, the late Mongina,the late Mayenga,the late Nyangoro,the late Keganda ,the late Gekara,Nyangau,Abere,the late Nyabate,the late Osiri among others. Cousin of Walter, Alice, Faraday, Zedekiah, Kometa, Mongare, Nyabuti, Joel, Thomas ,Tabitha,Arumba,Stephen and others.

Daily meetings are being held at his Gesiaga home, Mosocho and Kasarani, Nairobi.
The main fundraiser will be held on Tuesday,3rd March 2026, at Gesiaga home.
The cortege leaves Hema Hospital mortuary on Thursday,5th March 2026.
Burial and funeral service will be held on Friday, 6th March 2026, at Gesiaga Village, Ikobe Sub-Location, Bosamaro Chache Location, Nyamira County.
