ELIJAH BOSIRE NYABINGE

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Elijah Bosire Nyabinge.

Until his demise, Elijah served as a Senior Security Assistant in the Administration Department of the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI).

Elijah was a loving husband of Sally Kerubo Mokaya of Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and a proud and caring father of Linet Kwamboka, Hosea Morris, Job Lameck and Nelly Kemunto.

He was the beloved son of the late Morris Nyabinge Nyarondia and Hellen Mosinya Nyabinge.

He was the cherished brother of Pamela Kwamboka, Thomas Ombati, Samson Nyabinge, Jones Morara, Samwel Caleb and the late Monicah Moraa.

He was a treasured son-in-law of the late Peterson Mokaya Nyakweba, the late Linet Mokaya and Rael Mokaya, a beloved brother-in law of Douglas, Jacob , Stella, Jacinta, Monicah, Hellen, Jackline ,Wycliffe ,Daniel, Phanice, Maureen, Elda, Asenath and the late Margaret.

Elijah was a loving uncle, cousin, mentor and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at KNH Staff Residential Estate Compound from 5.00p.m to 8.00p.m to condole with the family. A fundraiser has been scheduled for 22nd February, 2026.

A memorial service in his honour will be held on 25th February, 2026 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church located on the 2nd Floor of the Kenyatta National Hospital Complex.

The body will depart Umash Funeral Home on Thursday, 26th February, 2026 for his home in Rigoma, Keroka (Nyamira County) where an overnight vigil and prayers will be held.

He will be laid to rest on Friday, 27th February 2026
