It’s with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Mwangi Gaitho from Kinoo, Kiambu County who worked at KenGen, Ol karia.
Son of the late Mwangi Gaitho and Martha Njeri. Loving husband of Annie Wanjugu Karobia Gaitho (Principal Maria-Ini High School).
Loving father of Kevin Karobia (UK), Justin Mwangi (Daystar Uni), Alfred Macharia (Nyandarua Boys), Leah Njoki, Hellen Njambi and Sherryjoy Wangechi.
Brother of Mary Nyambura, Miriam Njambi, Zipporah Wairimu, Johana Njoroge, Joseph Macharia, Daniel Karobia and Harrison Maina.
Grandfather of Joseph, David, Wilfred and Mila.
John Gaitho was a loved cousin and uncle of many. A friend and mentor to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at 5:00pm at his Kinoo residence and at his farm in Kinamba, Njabini.
The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Thogoto Funeral Home on Tuesday 24th Feb 2026 at 7:00 AM and followed by a funeral service at his farm in Kinamba, Njabini where he will be laid to rest.
