It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of retired teacher Gladys Wanjiku Mburu.
She was the daughter of the late Muniu Kibiri and the late Wangui Muniu.
She was beloved wife of the late Samuel Mburu Njoroge.
She was a loving mother of Jane Karanja (KCB Njabini), Mary Wangui Njuguna (Kijabe hospital), Loise Wanjiru (Juja Farm Polytechnic), Njoroge Mburu (Meru National Polytechnic), Timothy Muniu Mburu (National Treasury /State Department for Transport), Naomi Njeri Kahiga (Komothai), James Mbugua (Zimmerman) and Crispus Wanyutu (KCB Kencom).
She was the sister of the late Peter Wanyutu, Naomi Njeri and the late Simon Murigi.
She was an auntie, cousin and grandmother to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home Karugo village from 4.00pm for prayers and burial arrangements.
The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home Githunguri on Wednesday 25th February 2026 for the Funeral service and burial at her home in Karugo Village Kagwe Sub-Location, Lari Sub-county Kiambu County.
