It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lieutenant Duncan Rotich Kapkama aka “Fletcher” of the Kenya Defence Forces.
He was the 4th born child of Mr James Kapkama and Mrs Nancy Kapkama.
He was a father of Shelter Cheruto Rotich. He was a brother of Eddah Cheruto, Owen Yatich, Nixon Plimo, and Edna Chepkiach. He was a cousin to many.
The cortege leaves Mashujaa Funeral Home on Friday 20 February 2026 for an overnight vigil at his parents’ ancestral home in Kitaleposho village, Kapenguria Sub county, West Pokot County.
He will be laid at his final resting place at his parents’ home in Kitaleposho village within West Pokot County on Saturday 21 February 2026.
