It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mama Dinah Lily Khayasi Omula, which occurred on 7th February 2026.
She was the wife of the former presiding Clerk of Nairobi yearly meeting Quakers, the late Mr. Stanley Omula Ndezwa.
She was the daughter of the late James Shamala Imbogo and the late Mama Elizabeth Mkonja of Tumbeni, Kabras East, Kakamega County.
Mother of Milly (Baby) Omula, Rodgers (Bob) Ndezwa, Mary Omula, Noah Omula, Elizabeth Omula, and John Omula Ndezwa.
Sister-in-law of the late Jane, the late Hezron, the late Omenda, the late Charles, the late Beatrice, Misigo, Kati, Margaret, Asava, the late Christine, Monica, Dinah, Elizabeth, Beatrice, and the late Mary.
Sister of the late Robai Khayenzeli, the late Racheal Khamarish, the late Rhoda Muhila, the late Benjamin Imbogo, David Chibeu, George Okwemba, Joyce Khaweli, the late Julia Misia, Hellen Khaweli, Magdaline Imbogo, and Wanja.
Mother-in-law of Dan Wanyama, Wilberforce Wabuko, George Owour, Alice Chebor, Martha Oluchina, and Irene Aluku.
Grandmother to many and a great-grandmother.
The cortege will leave Kakamega County Referral Hospital Mortuary on 13th February 2026 for a requiem mass at her home in Machemo.
Burial will take place on Saturday, 14th February 2026, in Malava Sub-County.
